Can Playing Video Games Make You More Creative? Hmmm. .

Can Playing Video Games Make You More Creative? Hmmm. .

The next time you get grounded for wasting your time playing games inform your parents that you are merely trying to fire up your imagination. Those that played video games on a regular basis, seemed to be more creative, giving it a title then, and creating a story around it. The researchers are hoping that the results of study will encourage game developers to figure out which part of the games foster creativity.

I am very happy that some people agree that playing video games is not so bad for you after all. I like this article because it talks about how useful playing video games is.

Earth's Close Encounter With A Giant Asteroid

Earth's Close Encounter With A Giant Asteroid

After two free falling satellites now there is a giant asteroid making its way towards earth. The good news is that there is no danger that the 1,300 feet wide space rock called 2005 YU55 will hit earth. The asteroid will pass 201,000 miles away from us. In 2029 an asteroid will pass 99,942 miles away from planet earth.

I hope that there will be no danger of asteroids in the future. On the site I got this information there is a chart of asteroids that past between moon and earth before and the ones that are going to pass.

Mercury - More than a dead rock revolving around the sun

Mercury - More than a dead rock revolving around the sun

Mercury, the smallest and innermost of all planets has always been thought as dull, where no is no evolution. By the NASA's MESSENGER spacecraft captured pictures of large hollows on the surface of the planet, ranging in size over 3 kilometers (60 feet ). The hollows seem to be much younger than the craters they were found inside, scientists believe they were freshly made. A major surprise considering they had previously thought the planet was not evolving at all.

I think that the planet has evolution and maybe some sort of life. You never know what the space craft could discover about Mercury.

Why Ants Never Loose Their Way Picture

Why Ants Never Loose Their Way

Ants are industrious little insects that always find their way. They find their way because they have inside build GPS systems. Scientists found out that these little creatures have magnets build into their antennas, which help them navigate. Ants get their magnetic navigation powers from the minerals in the soil and the earth's magnetic field. Researchers believe that as the ants are walking around tiny mineral soil particles stick to their antennas. However, not all ants navigate in this manner. Some ants like the ones in the desert have special eyes and use the movement of the sun as their GPS system. These tiny creatures may look small and stupid but they have the largest brain when you compare ants to other creatures their size.

I hope that there will be more to find out about these incredible creatures. I think that ants are one of the smartest creatures on earth except us.
